Sports Illustrated For Women
Sports Illustrated for Women is the perfect addition to the coffee table of any athletic female. The magazine is packed with great features that will keep you reading to the end. Some, like "Faces in the Crowd" (which profiles rising athletes), are similar to that of the parent magazine, Sports Illustrated. Others, like "Fresh" (which displays athletic wear for women), are unique to the women's 'zine.
Sports Illustrated for Women has other information, too. One of my favorite sections is "Adrenaline" which features short tidbits of sports news. Whether you're hoping to catch up on what's happening in more traditional sports like basketball or golf or if you're hoping to learn more about rarer events like the Great Games of Animal Consummate Skill or Zorbing, this section features a little bit of everything. There's also nutrition information, tips on exercise programs, the latest health news, advice on motivating yourself, interviews with athletes and coaches, and information on the latest sports gadgets.
Not athletic? Don't worry. SI for Women is not all organized sports oriented. There's also tons of information on things dealing mainly with adventure, like climbing Mt. Everest (in the October 2001 issue, there's a list of the women who have achieved it!).
This is not your typical sports magazine. It blends together old and new, smart and stylish, common and rare. Not only will you find profiles on softball pitchers, but knife throwers, too.
In short, if you love athletics, adventure, and reading the thoughts of courageous, strong, and fit women, pick up a copy of Sports Illustrated for Women today!
