Matt, anyone would do that for their country. Just get over it. A while ago I was on a UK ice hockey web site and they had a poll, "Which country has the most skilled ice hockey team?" And England won by a landslide, when anyone who knows about hockey knows that they are no where near being one of the best. People just vote for their contry and it's a fact of life that you have to deal with.

Not all Americans are like the stupid people oh and rude people frome america on this page. I just clicked one and I dont think it was America I just want the points. I cant belive Lauren said that about all Americans. The only person here who is narrowminded here is you Lauren. You shouldent put blanket staments over a contry! Other than that I am a very open person a I have never seen America play cricket but I'm guessing that we are not that good compared to England since they have been playing a lot longer than we have!

What do you mean 'there'? I didn't say that it was right for people (and I say people because saying they are Americans is a total generalisation and totally unfair) who don't know about cricket to vote. Yes...It does screw up the poll but get over it. My problem is with the way you handled it. Calling people names(I don't care when), and calling them ignorant Americans (people in America do play cricket just on a much smaller scale), and attacking them. Frankly, I don't think that you got your views over just because of the way you spoke to people. Read your article again. You said anyone who voted for an America cricket player needs a brain transplant. So yes, you did call people stupid. At times, I bet you voted for English players when in truth you know some of the South African cricket players could kick their arses. It's called nationalism. All I'm saying is that next time you have a problem with something, deal with it better than you did instead of attacking people.
p.s. There isn't a thing wrong with cheerleading.

Okay...Matt, Calm down....Breath in an out. I've read some of you previous posts and I don't really see much intelligence coming from your side (I'm referring to your ignorant comments on the 'gender preference' forum-quick to judge, quick to anger). Before you start going on about what a stupid yank I am...I'm South African. I know a lot about cricket (I'm not talking world class knowledge but I know how everything works, I like watching certain games,certain players, I know cricket generally etc). It pains me to say that I agree with you to a certain extent. Yes, I believe that some people don't think before they press 'America' on the poll because they don't know anything about cricket. That irritates me too. I think it has something to do with nationalism/patrotism. That doesn't make people stupid. I doubt that their priorities are to please you, or anyone else here. That doen't mean you have to go attacking people (and a whole country) because you have pre judged them as nerdy (and Kelly, I doubt you're anything close to that), and stupid (America). Yes, a lot of Americans are stupid...So are English people...So are South Africans...So are Australians. Every country has stupid people. Why don't you just say what you feel without jumping down people's throats? I bet you that you tick of the English players or 'England' first as well(I'm assuming you're English). My country can pull together fine thank you very much, I don't think that 20 000 self absorbed American firefighters (mostly volunteers) would ever travel up to 2000 miles (maybe more) to fight fires in another state without pay, just to save a few lives. And hey the only reason the U.S was attacked was because you interfere (including wars) too much with other countries policies so don't think your heroes because you get involved in wars, your only killing your own people anyway. Oh and the reply page sometimes misses some of the letters i type, i can spell September perfectly fine actually, SEE. By the way, Indonesia has probably lost more people due to terrorism then the U.S has so look at the bigger picture and look beyond your oh so grassy green pastures (that actually are falling apart). And you people probably haven’t EVER heard any news coming beyond your shores unless it directly involves the U.S.

Thousands of people were inncocently killed (probably cause of cold-hearted dirtbags like you!) Firemen died saving others lives, little kids lost both parents, Mothers and Daddys lost both kids.
