Do You Know?
I was just wondering if bike riding would help tone my muscles. I do not go around riding my bike all the time but if any one replied to this article in a good way I think that I would start. In fact I don't even have a bike anymore but I know if I wanted one my dad would get it for me. He gets me whatever I ask for. Another thing I would like to know is if biking would tone my muscles, what muscles would it tone? On top of bike riding what else could I do to tone my leg muscles? Well, if anyone has any suggestions please reply to my article.

When your bike seat is lower you tone your quads more-muscles on the front of your thighs. When you raise the seat you tone your calves more-the back of your leg. Doing off-road riding, you have to have your arms supporting some body weight a lot because you end up hunched over the handles and when you go airborne your arms have to support weight when you hit the ground again.

Ok I am a bike rider and I race and all that. I have never really heard of biking working the Abs or the Arms, inless you are extreme riding. (which no offence I don't think you would do) I know for a fact though it will work your quads, hamstrings and your butt and some others as I cannot remeber. I have been Racing and just down right riding for about 8 years now and if I have gotten anything out of it is toned legs. I have probabley have toned more as I race and extreme ride but the most I can say is my legs. I have to say if your Dad will get you anything you want, get a bike that has front shox alright... it is essential toa good and healthy ride..

You will tone many muscles just as john wrote you already. You can tone all of your lower body and some of your abs. Other things that will tone your body are walking/running (either of these will help tone your thighs and calves.) For your arms just wieght lift. It's not that are to tone. Good luck with toning and remember to drink water!
