Canadian Hockey in the Olympics
I would just like to say congratulations to the men and women hockey team from Canada. You might be able to tell that I am Canadian. The women's team went out there with the Americans thinking they would beat us no problem! They put our Canadian flag on their dressing room floor, they say to remind them, but if you wanted to be reminded of us put our flag up on the wall or something. Anyways, the reffing in that game was unbelievably bad, we got 13 penalties in total, but that's ok, because we won anyway! The men's game was even better, we won against the Americans again winning the gold again. The reffing in this game wasn't that good also but it was way better then the women's. After they played our national anthem and the whole team had received their medals my friends and I ran outside with our flag cheering. Cars that passed honked their horns and held the flag out of their car windows. The next week NBC actually called Canada "cool". This had never happened before, and I was so amazed. Now the new fashion trend is Canadian clothing, i.e.. tucs, parkas ect.. Once again Canada, CONGRATS!
