Don't Start!

I am really worried about my boyfriend. He plays baseball, basketball, football and used to run track. His coach has had him on steroids for 7 years now and I must admit, he is huge! But a few days ago, he went to the doctor because he was having pains in his side. At first they thought it was his appendix, but they removed that and he is still in pain. They have done all kinds of test and they think he has a form of cancer in his stomach They know that this cancer is formed by a certain type of steroids. I don't remember which one he takes. But by the way the doctor talks, this is pretty serious and he has to have surgery again in 3 days to remove all the cancerous cells. I'm really worried. My advice to everyone is please don't start taking steroids. It might help you get strong and gain muscles for a little while, but it starts to have a negative affect on you too in time.

omg that must be really 4 u and him. im really sorry bout ur b/f try 2 stay strong and about. dont beat the out of any 1 or somethig like that. well i hope he gets better and can still do his sportz stuff byerz

I agree with Robert. Something should be done to that coach and his assitances. That's a horrible thing to do. I hope he goes to jail for it, he deserves it. Hope your boyfriend gets better!

What a horrible position this kid must be in. I can't believe a coach would actually put somebody on steroids, but to do it for 7 years! Ive never heard about cancer from steroids but I hope the coach and his administration will be locked up for what they did to him.
