A Game For The Ages
I've been playing this game since I was a little boy and have loved it through thick and thin. Growing up in the northern California Bay Area it was possible for me to see the game every once in a while. My family of course hates and despises the game but I on the other hand have always had a natural affinity for the game.
I remember as a young child watching it in a grand arena and being very excited. When I was a little older I moved south towards the Mexican border to Orange County. There the interest in Cricket was over shadowed by the allure of the great Los Angeles and the glow of the sky (due to the massive pollution as opposed to lights as I previously thought). I played sometimes but the beach to me more interesting seeing as the women are more likely to wear bikini’s than in playing cricket. I took on surfing as my major sport of choice.
This lasted until my move to New York in the tenth grade. Having no close places in which I could surf I returned to the lovely sport of Cricket. I was at first not very good at it but once I found a new crowd to play it with I was once again a natural at the sport. I would encourage all of you to place this age you wont be sorry you did.
