First Timers!

Don't worry how good that hot guy/hot girl is. He/She was the same as you when she/he started and friends are the same way. I have buddies that have been snowboarding for like 4 years and I just picked it up this last season here. They all wanted a piece of me to teach. I had my hands full with all of them. I rode with them for about a half hour and then they decided it was time for them to do the black diamond on our mountain (not telling me that black diamond is the hardest run) I went to. BIG mistake. I got to the top and found it was a little bigger then I expected so I was like you guys go and I will be down in a few. So three of them went then as my best friend went by he gave me a shove and I was off. Needless to say, I got good quick. So what I am saying is don't be mad because you don't pick it up quick. My friend has been riding for like 3 years and she still can't carve (sound familiar?). I, the first seasoner, taught her. So don't worry. It might take you awhile but you will get it. Have fun AND above all else be safe about it (if you know of this mountain come and say hi to me Hemlock Valley Resort).

Ok, first of all i do agree with your article. You shouldn't care about what that cute guy (or girl) is doing or wearing or anything. But, at my mountain, I have noticed that all of the cute guys snowboard. I just had to say that. Don't ask why, I don't know. But good article anyways...

This last winter was my frist time snowboarding also, and me and my friend took lessons. I was kind of embarrassed to, but it was all worth it. My friend changed to skiis because she just wasn't getting the hang of it at all, but I was already carving by the end of the day! I guess you could say I caught on quickly! Next year I actually plan on getting a snowboard!
