Well why does it matter what type of board you have or what type of bindings you've got or what the name on your clothes is? I know I worked at a ski hill for the season and I saw all different kinds of boarders and boards and all that. I think though that all people should be allowed to wear what they want to and not worry about being bullied. They all like a form of clothing that maybe Joe doesn't like so sue them. But you can't criticize them for it. Maybe they can't afford the 'good' clothes, well like I said sue them. They can't make do with whatever. Let them in and be one of the 'guys/girls,' no matter what they look like or ride like or wear.

Yah it's too bad ppl get hung up on brands, i just use what brand performs well, sometimes is expensive and sometimes it isnt. Image is nothing, performance is everything

text well it's not that people choose boards for wah they look like (and if they do, they're not real boarders) People choose their boards basedd on what they like, what their style is, and what kind of boarding they do. Like say you are like serious slalmom boarder, you aren't gonna choose a Burton Dragon, it's a baord built for riding the parks, different widths, stiffness, lendgths all make up why a boarder chooses their boards, and the same for bindings softer, stiffer, it all changes the way you ride. And with the clothes pffff, who knows its just like regular day clothes, everyone tries to be in style usually, but who cares if you don't like it then wear what ou want, it's not what you wear seriously, it's how you ride when you get right down to it.

people look at peoples boards cause different brands are better than others. they ride different than others. lots o people judge how they ride by what kinda board they got. like if they have a burton then they prolly were good enough to want to pay 600 dollars for it.( i dont judge tho cause i spent 2 years on a rental i do agree about the clothes thing. but i think some people are crazy for going in jeans,they should borow some snowpants from someone. Somepeople like the brands because of the pro-boarders are sponsored by them. I don't really care about the clothes, but I am very picky with the board it self. Try different companies boards and ride them to see the difference. The difference arn't just names... By the way, my favorite are GNU boards.
