~My obsession with tennis~
Okay this summer I have made it my goal to be the best at tennis that I can possible be. I’m not that great because I only started to play tennis two years ago. The major reason that I made this goal was because of my coach. He decided to hate my class and not let us play any games in any good spots. (Yeah I was stuck at number two junior varsity doubles. And if you know anything about tennis that is the worst spot you can have and still play.) The thing that made me mad was that my partner and me won like almost every game. I think we won six to of the eight games we played. Then the number one J.V. double won like three game out of the twelve they played. (Some teams didn’t even have a number two J.V. doubles so we had to sit out a few games!)

Then the thing that gets me most is that on varsity doubles both one and two they were played by two seniors and two freshmen! I didn’t get that because they only won like three games total. I didn’t mind the seniors because they deserved their spot but the freshmen didn’t!

Okay so this summer I have been played tennis practical every day! I am doing two different coached programs. One is by my actual school tennis coach. So maybe he will notice that I want to improve! Yeah he is big on the making a seen when we lose because he thinks we don’t try! So maybe next year I will get the spot I deserve!

Well, to be as good as you possibly can be, then you should probably play a bit more. Like you I want to get better, and I'm playing twice a day, seven days a week. But then again, I'm a tournament player and have been playing for seven years. It really depends on how intense you want to be. You can't judge how the other doubles team does, compared to you. They play different oponents and have different games, and off days. There must be a reason for the coach to be doing what he does. I think you should ask him why he made the decisions he did, and see if it actually is for a good reason.

You're coach sounds like a b*****d. I would have just gotten really *#!ed off and started hating him and tennis. You're definetly doing the right thing!

I've got the same goal this summer...to improve and get a better spot on the team.
