Poser Chicks?
I don't know where you guys are from, or whatever you guys are doing, but here in Vegas if a girl skates usually the whole city will know by an hour. It's really a sport that guys dominate over, but quit complaining about guys calling you posers. Maybe it's because you guys are just rolling around instead of trying to accomplish something. You have to be doing something for people to be calling you poser and wannabe if you talk about it like blah blah, that gets annoying. Girls that say they can skate, bug me especially when I test them and we go out for a night skate or a day at the park. They say oh no, my ankle hurts, or I can't skate in these shoes aka I can't do it. ;) I'm sorry, or they actually see a real hidden poser inside. I'm not saying all girls can't skate lol like Alexis Sablone and Vanessa Jamie Reyes ms steamer they rock! Props. :P I'm a featured skater on two different teams and life as a girl skater rocks. It doesn't seem like people stare at me at parks actually. A lot of times people help me and tell me what I'm doing wrong or they just ask me questions. So maybe these guys are getting mad because of the overpopulation of skater wannabes and it bugs them when they take up space just sitting there or just rolling around. So my point is don't complain, check yourself before you make a story of it. For you girls that are actually out there in the heat trying to Ollie, kick flip, pop shove it, or whatever I give you mad props. It took me two years to get where I am. -Monica
