The One And Only Sting!

Am I the only one who really miss seeing Steve Borden aka. Sting back in action? I just loved his intensity, passion and aggression when he entered the ring. And what about his intro? By far the best in Wrestling history.

LIGHTS OUT! THUNDER! FLASHING BRIGHT LIGHT! THE OPENING RIFF TO "SEEK AND DESTROY" BY METALLICA! AND THEN HE ENTERS! FACE PAINTED WHITE! DARK HAIR AND CLOTHES!

Then you hear: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! And the crowd goes wild!

I remember when I first started watching wrestling when I was 7-8 years old, and seeing this blonde haired, face painted guy they called Sting. He was just great. One of the things I remember the best was his fight against Avalanche in a WWF Clash of the Champions fight, where he tried to body slam the huge fella, but couldn't. He then got into a bear hug and hit Avalanche several times in the head before falling to the ground. Sting, tired after that hug, fell and landed with his head right around Avalanches' crotch! When he recovered he lifted Avalanche and body slammed him! One of the most amazing things I've ever seen.

Then he came back after some months were nobody saw him, in a darker character! And it was great! The way he came down from the rafters and kicked butt!

A match I remember the best from when he was black and white Sting, was a handicap match vs. Horace Hogan and Billy Kidman. Sting ran to the arena, jumped over the ropes and clotheslined them both! Amazing!

I truly miss seeing Sting. He was a good wrestler and truly one for the books!
