World Juniors

Today was the World Juniors hockey game. I live in Canada and it was a huge thing. At school we had it on a TV in are "pit" a place where everyone sits, and it was like full of people. It was such a big disappointment to lose to the States. I know you people that live in the States probably disagree, but if you watched the game, the last two goals the States got were pathetic and all pure luck. The winning goal was so sad, I can't believe that was the goal to win it all. It went off our own player! It was just bad luck. I don't think people in the States got out of class to watch the game, because I know down here many people did in many schools. Even if they weren't allowed, the kids just skipped. Canadians are huge fans of hockey and I just wanted to get my anger out about losing because we deserved to win!

UR totally right Canada OWNS hockey. If u asked me it shoulld be classified as our national sport cuz there are SO many hockey fans in canada. im only in grade nine but even at our school we had a huge t.v. set up in our library to watch it. It may ahve been a school day but teachers were willing to lets us out of class to watch it and everything. It just goes to show how much Canadians really do hockey!!! later

Sad thing you think USA should of lost.... a goal is a goal no matter how it goes in. If that would of been canada that got the weak goals you would of said the same thing to us. Canada dont own hockey no more it's a world sport and for the sake of the game let's hope it stays that way. My opinion since the US never won the world Juniors this will be the start of many more victories to come. US will start dominating the game of hockey because canadians dont practice as much as the US.......... they may play more games but reason USA is getting better and better at hockey and more of the US players are going to the NHL is because of practice better start working on your skills instead of playing all them games I still like canadians since they invented the game I will give you that you snooks thanks for the sport......

I think its that Us the states won. becuase i know the guys on the sioux team that played for the USA they play with a really close friend of mine and we havent came close to it for while and its just to have some one new win it. later.

the states may have won that game, but Canada still owns hockey.
