Bobby Cox NL Manager of the Year: A No Brainer
I'm sorry to say it, but to all the so-called Atlanta Braves fans that gave up on them in the beginning of the season then tried to jump on the bandwagon after they made it to the Division Series. I told you so! Don't try to come back on the scene and say that you had faith in them the whole season, that you knew Bobby Cox would pull them back into the running, because through thick and thin, I know for a fact that there were only a few people who stayed with the Braves with me, and you weren't there!
Bobby Cox did a lot more than Tony La Russa did this year in bringing the Braves back from a horrible deficit. Not to say that St. Louis was not a great team, but they were great from the beginning. Without rebuilding the team, and having faith in his pitching staff and rookies, Bobby Cox did an awesome job in bringing up their spirts and getting them to win. And they won and won and won! I couldn't be more proud of the Braves and more happy to see Bobby Cox finally get his props.
