I've Never Even Played Softball Before

I have never played before. I go to my little brother's baseball games all the time and I really want to play sofball now. But I feel that I won't fit in or I won't be good enough. I really want to play though! I feel like maybe I will be good enough. My family always tells me that I have the abilitly, because I come from a baseball family. I feel like the other girls at my softball team at school will judge me and be rude. But I really want to play. I want to look back at high school and know that I did something that I liked to do. Plus, my little brother can't have all the fun.

go for it . i was on an all star team & it was this gurls very first time playing softball & she got on the all star team also which we went to world series. but try out for the team & if you dont mae it this time do it next time !

I've never played softball before either but that didn't stop me from joining my team. I've always wanted to play but never got the opportunity until after I started college. I have, so far, been playing softball for only 2 months and I'm progressing ly. Not that I'm a natural or anything but I am logging some serious practice time (and it s to have a boyfriend who plays baseball to give extra ). Some things are easier than others, like for me batting is alot easier than catching the ball or throwing. Don't be afraid to join your HS team. You don't know yet what you are capable of and you may seriously surprise yourself. Take it from a college junior . And who knows, maybe you'll be recruited by a DII or DIII college when the time comes.
