To Play Or Not To Play

I have played softball on and off since 5th grade. Next year I will be a senior and I would love to play on my high school team. The problem is there are only 4 spots open on the team next year and there are some really talented kids on the JV team. So I don’t know if I will make it. I don’t want to try out and look like I am a freak and end up not playing. I don’t know what to do. So I am asking you all for help do you think that I should try out or just forget about softball.

don't worry about what anyone else thinks....... Softball is an amazing sport and you can get some pretty great friends while playing. so don't let oher people intimidate you........if you don't try out you will be missing out on a great sport. GO LSU TIGERS!

U will never now if u will make the team or not if u don't try out whats the worst that can happen you may not make the team or you get put on j.v. it doesn't really matter u can have on either team as long as u get to play. but if u don't try u will always wonder if u could have made varsity or not. it ur senior year why not just go out there an have . if playing makes u happy then don't worry about what people say just go out for the team. let us know what you decide

Just go out and do your best and don't worry about other people....doing your best is all that matters. Some coaches also look at determinism, so, don't give up!
