Angels
Name dilemma! I know it has already happened. The Angels are now The Los Angeles Angels, but how ludacris is that? First off, they are not even in LA, they are in the totaly opposite direction. Can't you just imagine poeple who have never gone to Angel stadium getting lost because LA is in the name? Then to top it off, their owner said it was for advertisment issues. Most people don't know this but the Angels got third place in that arena so I don't think they are doing too bad.
Even after all that, they are a great team. Even though most of their fans are furious over half the time, they have a sold out ball park (even last season before they changed the name). Honestly, if someone was going to change the name shouldn't it have been the OC Angels or Southern Cali Angels or the Anaheim Angels (something that makes sense)? It shouldn't be named after a city that is in a whole other direction. What do you think? Even though the season's halfway over, aren't you Angels fans mad? I know I am and I think we need to get them to their original name.
Their new owner has brought in some great players though, although Erstad will always be the bast. So vent people! I can't wait to see what you think.
