Barry Bonds
Barry Bonds passed Babe Ruth yesterday when he hit his 715th career home run off of Byung-yung Kim of the Colorado Rockies. I'm not so sure why the media cares so much. All he did was get to 2nd place. I NEVER think any athlete is satisfied with 2nd place. He didn't break any record. All he did was move up one more spot. Sure, he now has the most home runs of any left-handed hitter. He still has 41 more to hit until he really breaks a record. He wants to just focus on that and so should the media.
