My Soccer Problem

Okay, I've been playing for about 6 years now and I'm a goalie. I've won a bunch of awards all over the northeast and now I play on a premier team for Leszek Wrona (Polish National Player). Thing is, his U-15 girls team needs a goalie and all the girls keep pressuring me to do it. During a friendly match, one of my "teammates" gave me a hair extension and tied it into a ponytail and then painted my nails for effect. I actually made it past the refs and played the game without anyone knowing. I was wondering what the penalties would be if I was caught during a league game. Thanks!

I have no idea what the rule would be to this. I was a ref before and we didnt even go over this scenario. Thats interesting. Ever see the movie Juwanaman? (or something like that). Granted its about basketball, but same concept. Check it out.

wow i'm surprised you got passed the refees if that happened with some of the reffs i get you would probaly be suspended for a couple of seasons

well I know like every rule in soccer, and I have no idea what the penalty would be, they would obviously kick you out of the game, but beyond that, I'm not sure, and how do you explain this to your parents? haha

oooh, so it's a guy? that would make more sense. i couldn't figure out why it would be a problem for a girl to have hair extensions and painted nails.

K gotta know I think your a guy but I'm not sure for the way others reacted I think they think your a girl?!? And in that case if you are a guy and your playin on an a girls only team then all of there wins could be takin away and you would no long be alound to play on the team.

i dont get that one. what's the big deal with hair extensions and painted nails? I actually went through an entire soccer game without shin guards once. I kow you can't wear jewelery or anything while playing, but having long hair and painted nails won't hurt anyone nor yourself, so that's a bit over the top. as to playing goalie, i think you should definately do it. it'll make you even better of a goalie
