Europe Pool Warning!

I'm from England and have just got back from France on holiday. France is ace - great people, great culture, as well as great clothes!

We thought we'd go swimming as it was pretty hot (as Europe goes). Everything was ace till we got to the poolside. I normally wear Bordies (long swim shorts). There was a sign at the reception which said (to the best of my French skills) "no shorts." It was when we reached the poolside and I noticed all the other guys were wearing Speedos that I realized my error.

Public pools in France don't allow swim "shorts," just brief style Speedo things. So be warned if you're shy about your body! But heck, go for it!
