Is It Okay to Wear a Speedo?

Last year I bought a speedo from a local swim shop. But for the whole summer it was sitting in with all of the rest of my clothes and I didn't wear it. My reason I didn't wear it is because I was afraid of what all of my friends and everyone at the local pool would say. I was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me what I should do. Is it sociably acceptable to wear a speedo at a public swimming pool with all of your other jock friends standing there watching your every move? Any help would be great.

sure its okay to wear a speedo... why would it not be? it takes some real confidence to wear one in front of the other boys. i respect other guys who are not afraid. more boys should start trying them

i think speedos are sexy. but i just don't know why girls prefer boardshorts to speedos. speedos show more skin. it should turn them on.

Some people may think it is ackward that you are wearing a speedo...but at long as you just walk around like it is no big deal, noone is going to give you for it. I wouldn't recommend walking out of the locker room with a towel on a making a big scene about taking it off and revealing your suit...I knew a kid that did that, and he was made of.

I wear Speedos and know one cares. They just keep swimming and don't make of you I am over weight and they still talk and we are still friends.

Wear what you want! It doesn't matter what other people think of you. Be yourself and do what you what. Who cares what anyone thinks of what you wear and how you act as long as you like it!

I wear mine when I am at the beach. I also where a speedo when I am swimming. I am on a year round swim team and I wear a speedo. I have a gut and the guys on the team don't make of me. They just act like another swimmer in a speedo. Every guy on the team wears a speedo but 3 people. HOPE THIS ED!!!!!
