Too Old To Restart?
Well, I did gymnastics for about 10 years from a very young age until about 14. I left the competitive circuit at level 8 and went into tennis, volleyball, and swimming for high school. I'm now in college and haven't tricked or even attempted more than an occassional bridge, handstand, and splits (just to make sure I still have them. ) I know after puberty, it just wasn't the same. Am I too old to get back into the sport? I'm considering joining a gymnastics club at a University, that claims to accept 'all levels' to the club, but I'm afraid of shaming myself.

I am sure girls in the club will be way less experienced then you. I bet that with spotting you will get your confidence and skills back really quickly. I have coached an adult class that has a lot of college students in it for the past 4 years many of the people in my class have never even taken gymnastics before. I wouldn't be worried about it at all, if it is something that you enjoy doing you should do it. I wish my college had a gymnastics club!
