Private Lessons?
Okay, so I've been skating for about a year and a half, and I think I'm ready for private lessons. I know skills above my class level, and I want to improve faster. I take ballet, and I go to the rink from one to three times a week to practice and have fun. My friends say I should take privates, but my parents are still on the fence, since I haven't been skating for very long. I quit Athletics at school to take private lessons, and I practice a lot. I would walk or ride my bike to the rink if I could! I want to prove to my parents that I can skate. I catch on to things quickly and I understand them. What do you think?

Depends, how long have you been skating?
It is only natural, because people get really passion about stuff, but they lose passion also. I think only time will prove the truth to your parents - just keep up with what you are doing! Don't give up ;P
