Girl's Football

Ok, so i'm a girl and i wanna try out for the football team. Quarter back is my position. However, my dad or coach won't let me. It's unfair and they're sexist. My dad says that if i was a boy i'd be able to play and the coach says "we've only had one girl on our team and she wasn't a quarter back she was a lineman and i do not want a girl being our high school quarter back". It's so unfair that i have to convince them that i can play and that i'm good (and i am pretty good actually). I play all the time in p.e. or at break times in school. Guys all think that it's ridiculous that i want to play, but who ever said that football was a guys sport????NO ONE! except "tough" guys and macho idiots afraid to lose their spot on the team to a girl. It makes me so mad sometimes.

IF the Coach refueses to let you play go to the atletic director, if the Athletic director refuses to letyou play seee the Prinipal, if the Prinispal refuses to let you play sue teh school for disobeying the Equal opprotuities act of 1990 which requires schools to make equal atheletic opprotuies for both Males and FEMALES. However if the choach says that you arent good enough and can say why wit u bashing your feminiity then what he dis was pervertly legal althugh im nto allowed to play on the girsl basketball team. stupid school

thanx..... talked to my dad about it his exact words were, "hailee,you can't play football your not good and your a girl" ouch! he's never even seen me play so how would he kno?

If I lost my football position....which Ihave multiple positions but If I lost all of them to girls, I think I would be smiling and happy because atleast I know someone was brave enough to step onto the field and prove they're better than me...but doubt it will ever happen, but its always a possibility. Hope you earn that QB position

You could start a petition and have people sign it if they support you/want you to play QB.

I played qb for our team last three years, and i guess i would be ok with it as long as you actually could hold your own against other guys. if your actually the best qb they have, than its their loss if they dont let you.
