ok, i want to know whats to special about hockey? i think its stupid. i have this friend who went out w/ a guy who played hockey, he spent NO time w/ her and then wanted to finger and (TeenFX RULEZ!) her. i just want to know wuts so special. someone pls reply

Sorry you feel hockey is stupid, but let me ask you this have you ever been to a NHL game or a OHL game or a college game? It's the fastest contact sport their is, every player is going 120% everytime he's on the ice. The pucks go 100mph and faster... Do me a favor and try going to a professional game I guaranteed you will fall in with the game. Thing with your friends boyfriend did you ever notice hockey players have amazing bodies? If you look in a locker room of hockey players you will not find 1 person who is out of shape and doesnt look like a million bucks for that to happen hockey player have to workout 24/7, 5 to 7 days a week practices and games that's probaly why he can't see her alot . I play Junior hockey in Canada and Im american, 5 days a week practices and games on weekends I can't have a girlfriend unless I want to make her really made and never spend time with her because it's so demanding . Just like any other player Im trying to make the NHL. You probaly wouldn't understand the sport unless you played, for me I have to be on the ice always. If I take more than a week off I start to seriously shake cause I want to play so bad It's really a amazing sport just try going to a few games and I'm not talking ty high school Varsity or triple A leagues Im talking Junior leagues, college, NHL you will be amazed how much you will like it.

You need to go to a hockey game to realize what is awesome about it! The whole game is just awesome, the atmosphere, the fights, the plays etc! I have been going to hockey games ever since I was really small and I have grown up on it! I have personally never played hockey in my life but I have a lot of friends who do! I guess I can say this kind of stuff because I know alot of hockey players pretty well, til I was about 14 years old my family housed players for our local hockey team and what can I say guys are going to be guys! The guys who played on our team our from all of the United States and some were from out of the country so they are comming into a new situation where they don't really have anyone controling them because they are away from there parents so they can do whatever they want! And they of course are going to take advantage of that! The only people they are really friends with our there teammates so they go and do everything together well, I don't know if you noticed this or not but after hanging out with the same people for 8 months it gets old after awhile! Young boys obviousally have hormones and they don't know any girls here so they figure well no one knows me from here and so I might as well do whatever I want! Plus hockey guys already have a bad rep for using girls to get some... not all of them are like that, but some our! Plus a lot of girls go for guys who play hockey because they are good looking and buff! But it all comes down to they don't have time for girl friends because they are busy at practice, doing stuff in the community and playing hockey! So it comes off as they are just using girls but you know everyone needs to get some once in a while especially 17-23 year old males! So thats all I have to say just to inform you because a lot of people don't understand about hockey players and everything they go through! But I have kind of lived my life around it so I am use to it!!

well put brad - yo congrats u must be good- but i play , im a gril yeah but i know lots of guys that play hockey, what makes them different then other guys? they take agression out on the ice, not off, they are in SHAPE and how much of a jerk a guy is has nothing to do with the sport he plays, plus hockey is only the GREATEST game ever!

Ok. I hockey...I wish I could play but there are no leagues around here. Anyways...I don't like ur comment..sounds like ur friend had personal issues. It's better to watch 10 guys chasin a puck than watch 22 guys go one way for 20 minutes and another way for another 20 minutes in football. I'd rather be at a hockey game than at a football game, even though I have to cheerlead for a football team.

hockey is a more difficult sport to play than the others. football, if your fast you will make a team. basketball, if your 7' tall or can dunk you can make the team. baseball, throw a ball or hit a ball and you'll make the team. hockey though, you need to know how to skate, shoot, pass, punk handle.

hockey is a great sport. it always have been. ive played hockey for 6 years and i play on a all boys team. it's soo much . to bad for your friend it happens some guys r just jerks. but i most tell you alot off hockey players are very . and no one ever said all hockey players are the same... some have fire in there hearts and ice in there veins like me others are well jerks.... they have a cold heart and veins. like i said some hockey players are just jerks like some of the guys on my team. it's a great game! and if you watched a NHL hockey game or a high school hockey game or a collage game or even a states game you would hockey too.
