HEY!!!! oh my gosh a girl that wants to play lacrossee... go for it babe! ok so... i played last year so i can give you some pointers. definatly start throwing around with friends -- catching and throwing with both hands, side, low, high, and tons of cradling. let cradling become your life. if it is second nature to you... everything else will totally come. and really if you want to surprise the other team... try and make your left arm stronger than your right and use it often. i play mostly left handed and it always throws the other team off. yes this year it is required that we wear eye goggles, but it is a small price to pay for safety. you will also have to wear a mouth gaurd at all times. those are sooo ful let me tell ya. for the pockets on the stick yes there is barely any. the ball has to be showing above to side when looking at it at eye level. otherwise it is illegal. but yes.... seriously go out for this sport you will not regret it whatsoever!! it is a blast and you will have nothing but . if you want more info aim me at lacrossechick814

I've played lacrosse for about 6 years now, and it's wonderful! Just practice and practice, especially dodges and rolls. Cradeling is also /so/ important, as there is minor stick checking. Yes, the new rule is that you have to wear eye gear if you are older than div. 1 (6th grade). Personally I can't stand the goggles as I still like to maintain some fashionable sports equiptment--
Mine are from- I think STX..maybe. If you look up 'womens lacrosse eye gear' on google, you'll get some ful hits. Wherever I got mine, they were about $65. I got to choose the outer rim color, the bar color, the band color, and the inside rubber protector color.... the better to match your jersey, my dear! Good luck! Practice makes -almost- perfect xDDD

I plan on doing LaCrosse when I get to high school. It seems a bit interesting if you ask me...Every sport requires some kind of safety protection so don't be paranoid to use it 'cause i wouldn't want anyone to be hit in the eye and then not be able to come back on...That'd suck.
