Why isn't there a rugby section? It's a growing sport, and in my oppinion it's way better than football! I don't play, but I plan to. There are also a lot more girl rugby teams than girl football teams... In my area anyway!

i agree! there should be rugby also. i mean they have horseback riding so why not have rugby!! everyone is starting to become familiar with this sport. so really i think they should have a rugby section

i play rugby and american football. i rugby so much more. when i get older im going to play for the Chicago Dragons which is a gay rugby team here.

i dont play it cause theres no guys teams in my area but i like watching it on tv i think that rugby players have more balls than football players

Rugby players are not as big as pro nfl players. You get a 350 pound lineman with more muscle in one arm than you have in your entire body, you'll see some flattened rugby players.
Admittedly, Rugby players are brave not to use any form of protection while playing. But there's something about the NFL that you don't see in Rugby. Instead of the large huddles of men pushing each other, you have carefully articulated plays. The amazing 60 yard pass completions, hits that would kill a man without pads, running-backs pushing through for that astounding touchdown run after breaking 4 separate tackles... There are literally hundreds of different plays in pro-football. Rugby, as rough and dirty as it is, is restricted somewhat from how the game is played out.
However, I do agree there should be a rugby section. It's a major sport and should be treated as such. I also rarely see any rugby sports on TV, they should create more rugby programs and have them televised. Nothing gets the American public's attention better than plastering it on television.

thats rubbbish, all american football is is a load of men running around fighting each other with brakes happen every other second, its kinda ridiculuos, they're all so fat they need to have rests after every play, WHY?! at least rugby'e allowed to flow and you get a proper game out of it, its so much more skillfull aswell, its not about bravery, rugby n american football players are all f"£&*$ng hard im sure, its just rugby you can actually enjoy, with no adverts, its less commercialised and generally better. I play neither sport by the way, so count me as a neutral, !

There has never been such thing as a girls football team. I thought it was unisex for rugby also. Though, I could be wrong.

honestly, american football is my most disliked sport. it's not that exciting to me.
and somethings about it: football = wimps rugby = men
football took the real name of soccer and made wimpier rules of rugby. the makers must have been some people who had no imagination and didn't like getting hurt.
