I have a question for any football players. Do cheerleaders get on your nerves when you play?

ALL THE TIME, im on the freshmen team (5-2) at my school. Starting strong safty, 4 interceptions 5 fumble recoveries. But anyway we have to go to the varsity games and watch them get there asses kicked. Its so boaring that all there is todo it listen to the cheerleaders, not so bad, but after aile they get stuck in your head and me and my team mates start chanting them somtimes.

Back in High School and beginning of College when I played they got on my nerves especially when they'd distract you from getting your football across the line and you are an inch away from doing a victory dance.

I was a quarterback in high school and the cheerleaders really distracted me, BIG TIME. All they were doing was shouting while I was trying to my team out by attempting to get across the line before the other team tackled me.

I'm not a football player so I can't place my opinion on things. Yes, I do think it is a possibility that cheerleaders distract others still knowing they are there to cheer the crowd to winning instead of losing.

No dont be silly...players dont get distracted by cheerleaders during the games. Now when you're up by 50 and the coach puts in the scrubs....then you notice the cheer leaders :D
