hey. running actually isnt good. a ture volleyball player should never run more than a mile or 2 in one day. its messes uh ur vertical. spcially shouldnt do it if ur a middle blocker, heck if ya block at all. . duh. but yea. um, i kno push ups and stuff for ur arms is really good. s ur arms become stronger forserving and hitting. uhm, definately do like squats for ur legs. being a volleyball player, u really gotta have a stong lower body. uhm yea. any more ?'s email me- basketball109 4@yahoo.com

For our volleyball conditioning we had to do arm circles for 5 minutes (KILLS your arms, but it's really good for them), we did alot of short-distance sprints, push-ups, sit-ups, leg lifts...

Well..we train pretty hard at our school i guess. We run hills..and or the mile before pratice everyday. and if u dont get them done in a certain amount of time u owe coach after practice. Running doesn't hurt..so i think that would be a good thing, but dont run too much before u have games..b/c u'll be very sore. . also what s is just normal pushups like 25 a day. and get in the weight room! good luck

if u wanna run, run steps. when you are going up push off and try and get ur legs up high. this increases your verticle jump. just be careful coming down and rest.then sprint back up and rest coming down, etc.

Honestly, I've never played volleyball but I think the only way you can get practice is the actual game of volleyball.
