Hey, I'm an 8th grade hurdler and i was wondering if anyone out there knows any good hurdler stretches. I know the 'grab the apple, put it in your pocket' one, but are there any other good ones that actually ? | |

| The two most important stretches for any hurdler, especially a beginner are fugure fours and butterflies. Another great streth is putting your leg up on the hurdle, like you're going over it and trying to put your forehead on your knee. The single most important thing any hurdler must do is stretch, stretch, then stretch some more, you never want to be tight when you go over a hurdle. | |

| Butterflies and leg lifts might be really good. | |

| Stretching is very important when jumping hurdles. Anything that would exercise your calfs and thighs would be great since there is a lot of leg strength involved in this type of event. | |
