So, yes this may be a long topic because I want to describe this program and what I've done so far and how much I have accomplished.
Yes, I've started P90X. My dad and I are doing it together to get ourselves in better shape. Basically, what we've done so far was the Kenpo X, Plyometrics, Chest, Triceps, and Back, and Cardio X. Some others we've done but not everyday was the Ab Ripper X and Core Synergetics.
First off, I have to say this is the most extreme fitness program I have ever attempted. The workouts are very difficult to pull yourself through which definitely shows how good of mental shape I am in but not so much as far as physical shape. When I first started on Wednesday, I couldn't fit into size 36's but now they are fitting better which means I am noticing a big difference right away. And I am...because I am sticking to it and following the workouts all of the way through and not taking it too far. Some of you may think I am crazy but I have lost approximately 2 inches off of my waist and hips so far according to my measurements from 39 to 37 inches. And hips...44 to 42.
Now, I wouldn't suggest this program for anyone who is way, way, way out of shape or have a history of back and neck problems because this is a very intense exercise regimen. Don't do it just for the heck of it because there will be no way you can get through it. There's a disk you should watch first: Bring It! | |
